Historically, this field developed from the Department of Agricultural Technology, which had scientific roots in Agricultural Product Technology, Agricultural Tools and Machinery, and Soil and Water Engineering. These were then merged on July 11, 1996, into the Food Technology and Agricultural Engineering Study Programs. FTIP Unpad itself was inaugurated on September 13, 2005, and the Agricultural Engineering Study Program became part of the development of higher education in agricultural industrial technology.  <\/p><p>Agricultural Engineering at FTIP Unpad integrates engineering principles, information technology, precision agriculture, resource conservation, agricultural machinery, and biosystem HIMATETA is a student institution within the Agricultural Engineering Study Program, part of Kema FTIP Unpad, and operates in partnership with the deanship and other institutions. HIMATETA was founded from HMJ TMIP Unpad in 2008 and changed its name to HIMATETA Unpad in 2016.
