GRADUATES COMPETENCE

Education in the Agricultural Engineering Study Program FAIT UNPAD aims to produce graduates who can identify, formulate, and solve agricultural and biosystem engineering problems and have a professional attitude with an entrepreneurial spirit, responsive to science and technology developments, and communicate effectively and adhere to engineering ethics.

 Competencies of graduates of the agricultural engineering study program are:

  1. Have a minimum ability to complete work through an approach to engineering principles, systems, and management in agriculture, including a). Identify, and provide problem-solving solutions based on engineering principles; b). Designing, constructing, and managing agricultural natural resources, equipment and processes in agricultural systems; c). Implement, analyze, interpret, provide alternative solutions, and apply experiments to improve agricultural system performance.
  2. They are mastering the science of agriculture and biosystems, the basics of engineering, agricultural tools and machinery, systems and management science, control systems and instrumentation, natural resources and the environment, processing of agricultural and food products, energy and electrification, information and communication technology, and professional engineering ethics and entrepreneurship. Thus, graduates will be able to act as designers, managers, and analysts on agricultural systems and be entrepreneurs.
  3. Able to solve problems with several alternative solutions in agricultural engineering and biosystems that can be accounted for and have the ability to: a). Act and behave professionally and innovatively in working and having a career in agricultural and biosystem engineering following engineering ethics and norms of community life; b). Develop an entrepreneurial spirit to contribute to the development of agriculture and biosystems; c). Able to communicate scientifically effectively and responsively to the application of science and technology in agricultural engineering and biosystems.
