The Faculty of Agricultural Industrial Technology, Padjadjaran University carried out Surveillance Audit I ISO 21001:2018, in the Plenary Room of the Unpad FTIP Dean Building, Jatinangor Thursday, (3/8/2023). This activity is an effort to ensure the quality of FTIP Unpad in a sustainable manner.
The Surveillance Audit activity was carried out by the onsite British Standard Institution (BSI) certification body with Edy Budianto Nainggolan as the Lead Auditor. Previously, FTIP Unpad received ISO 21001:2018 certificate No: EOMS776493 in 2022.
Present at the activity included the Dean of FTIP Unpad Dr. Ir. Sarifah Nurjanah, M.App.Sc, Deputy Dean I for Learning, Student Affairs, and Research, Robi Andoyo, STP., M.Sc., Ph.D, Deputy Dean II for Resources and Organization, Dr. Tita Rialita, S.Sc., M.Sc., Head of the FTIP Quality Assurance Unit, Dr. Siti Nurhasanah, S.TP., M.Si, Managers, Heads of Departments, Heads of Study Programs and educational staff.
In her remarks Dr. Ir. Sarifah Nurjanah, M.App.Sc explained, this ISO 21001:2018 Surveillance Audit I activity is important as an effort to guarantee the quality of academic services held by FTIP and also guarantees the quality of FTIP Unpad on an ongoing basis.
“We strive to be able to provide the best service for all customers and meet stakeholder requirements by implementing the ISO 21001: 2018 education quality management system,” said Sarifah.
In addition, this audit is also FTIP’s effort to answer the challenges of transforming higher education in the face of digitization and significant changes in graduate competencies.
“We will always maintain and maintain the effective implementation of the ISO 21001: 2018 Education Quality Management System in our beloved faculty,” said Sarifah.
The ISO 21001 standard is a standard that specifically talks about education management systems. This standard guarantees that the educational services provided are in accordance with the needs of users, in this case students, as well as the needs of partners and in accordance with the standards set by ministries, universities, or those set by FTIP itself.
The Head of the FTIP Unpad Quality Assurance Unit, Dr. Siti Nurhasanah, S.TP., M.Si, that this audit activity aims to ensure education management in accordance with ISO 21001: 2018 standards.
“We are committed to jointly implementing ISO 21001: 2018 with the intention of guaranteeing and fulfilling customer satisfaction, especially students in accordance with the PPEPP concept, namely Determination, Implementation, Evaluation, Control and Improvement,” she said.
The Surveillance Audit was carried out for two days with the scope of the audit visited consisting of the Quality Assurance Unit, Deputy Dean 1, Deputy Dean 2, Agro-Industry Technology Masters Study Program, Department of Agricultural Engineering and Biosystems and Libraries.
The Surveillance results state that FTIP Unpad is still entitled to ISO 21001:2018 certification from BSI.
Surveillance is carried out once a year, it is hoped that next year Surveillance FTIP Unpad will be able to maintain it and even be able to improve the best service to all customers.
