“The current VMP is the third held by FTIP, it is an effort to realize Unpad’s vision, namely to become a world-class university. So it is part of our concern for the contribution of science and technology, especially towards the use of biomass. “Hopefully, we can all make a greater contribution to international engagement in the near future,” said Dr. Ir. Sarifah Nurjanah, M.App.Sc. as Dean of FTIP when giving a speech.
Robi Andoyo, Ph.D said “The theme of the VMP currently being held covers a wide spectrum, from sustainable food production and precision agriculture to new processing techniques and the development of functional food that is in line with the challenges of the times and collaborative solutions”
Apart from discussing Trends and Innovations in Food Science and Technology, this activity was interspersed with several displays of typical Indonesian arts, including traditional dances from LISES Unpad, flute lutes, a medley of national songs from various regions in Indonesia and the natural beauty of Indonesia.
Through the VMP program, it is hoped that innovations will emerge that will not only overcome current challenges but also pave the way towards a more resilient, sustainable and efficient future.
